Provide clients with high level strategic consultancy in evaluating the requirements for Risk Management software and to provide clients with on site support in technically leading an implementation. Is recognised as a point of authority in Financial Engineering by both clients and Algorithmics employees worldwide

Main Duties

  • Plays a key role in pre-sales by working with the Client and the Sales team in developing a bid and supporting the Sales team through to contract completion
  • Undertakes high level financial validation and modelling of clients portfolios, across the whole spectrum of Financial Instruments
  • Provide consultancy advice on the implementation of Risk Management Software to assess market and credit risk
  • Provide training and support to clients
  • Acts as a point of reference for FE’s and JFE’s
  • Represents Algorithmics at conferences and exhibitions and takes opportunities to prepare and present articles and papers
  • Works with Marketing to ensure press coverage for technical issues
  • Leads teams of JFE’s and FE’s on client sites when appropriate

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in analytic subject (maths, physics)
  • Possibly post graduate study or research experience
  • Experience specialising in Risk Management

  • Very strong problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Adept at presenting ideas and reports in a concise manner

  • Good command in English, both verbal and written

    Desirable Requirements

  • PC literate, familiar with desktop applications, possibly has some programming experience
