Our client, a leading trust company,is looking for a highly motivated TEAM oriented Senior Accountant for the position of supervisor and senior account manager for International Real Estate Clients. For one of our clients, a leading financial institution in Luxembourg, we are looking for a:

SENIOR IFRS and CONSOLIDATION ACCOUNTANT (m/f)

Tasks and responsibilities:

Responsible for supervising all accounting matters including the preparation of annual financial statements and publication accounts for allocated client companies (commercial companies, real estate companies, SOPARFI, SA and SARL. Experience with SPV, SICAR and fund structures would be a plus) under LUX GAAP and IFRS;

Responsible for the preparation of monthly reports under IFRS

Responsible for the preparation of monthly consolidation reports under IFRS

Responsible for the preparation of interim reports, consolidation reports, cash flow statements, shareholders equity and segment reporting and any other financial reporting for allocated client companies in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP or any other international accounting standard (i.e. IFRS or US GAAP);

Work independently in all financial matters related a portfolio of clients but co-operate with others in a strong TEAM environment;

Day-to-day contact with the clients´ local and international advisors such as lawyers, tax advisors and auditors;

Involvement in the intake process of new clients;
Specific requirements for this position:

Degree in accounting or ACCA qualified

Practical and proven experience with the preparation of consolidation accounts under LUX GAAP and IFRS

Strong financial and analytical skills

Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar professional environment (Real Estate Company, Trust Company, or International Audit firm)

Excellent working knowledge of the local rules/laws

Fluency in English. Knowledge of French or German would be an asset.

Good management and organisational skills

Service oriented and a pro-active and entrepreneurial attitude

Ability to work well independently and within a strong TEAM environment

Ability to communicate and interact well with clients and colleagues

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

Computer proficient with extensive experience in spreadsheet, database and computerized accounting systems
