International Bank seeks Desk Strategist to support commodities business. Candidate will be working with sales, traders and strategists to structure and model transactions, and improve the flow, efficiency and profit-making capability of the business. Ideal candidate will have a math or finance background, good programming skills (C++/Java/Perl), and 2-5 years experience in a quantitative/finance role. Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment. Candidate will work as part of a trading desk team to help price trades and manage risk, advise clients on the risks of their businesses, and help them devise strategies to help manage those risks. Development and support of the pricing systems for commodities derivatives.
