BlackRock Alternative Advisors is searching for a qualified individual to be responsible for operational due diligence activities in the New York metropolitan area. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Operational Due Diligence and Oversight function and will be integrally involved in performing on-site operational reviews, working with service providers and developing market intelligence sources.

The ideal candidate will have a background in public accounting, preferably 4-5 years with a Big Four audit firm, or specialized firm serving hedge fund managers. He/she must also posses a minimum of 3-5 years experience with a hedge fund or fund of funds in an operational due diligence or back office/operational related role. CPA required, MBA, CFA and/or CAIA desirable. Other requirements include:
