Main Duties
• Designs and develops marketing plans & strategies for developing Retail Banking business of the Bank. • Management of Branches and ensures their smooth operations and that they maintain high level of Customer Service by delivery of quality service to customers and oversees the day to day running of the branches.
• Ensures that Branches cross train their staff and oversees their manpower requirements in coordination with the HR Dept.
• Assigns business and revenue targets to Branches and monitors their performance. Carries-out marketing calls to high net worth customers (potential & existing) in coordination with AGM Business Group.
• Oversees the customer complaint management and ensure that customer grievances are sorted out expeditiously.
• Responsible for Relationship Management of retail customers and maintains & develops relationship with ministries & other government authorities.
• Oversees the development of products and keeps track of competitor products & their pricing.
• Evaluates and recommends repackaging of existing products.
• Oversees the running of the private banking unit and ensures that the unit delivers quality services to their customers.
• Reviews & evaluates loan applications from branches which are beyond the authority of the Branch for approval of the Credit Committee.
• Member of the following Committee: 1. Credit Committee for consumer loans
2.Executive Committee
• Carries-out performance appraisal of Branch Managers and staff of the Retail Banking Division.
• Reviews overdue reports to identify potential problematic accounts and follows-up with Risk Management Dept. in problematic cases.
• Conducts customer satisfaction surveys and identifies weakness. Develops action plans to overcome identified weakness.
Ensures adequate Management Information Reports are periodically submitted to the Management to keep them informed on revenue generation, business growth, market share, etc.
5) Essential Qualifications/Experience Required
• University degree in Banking / Business Administration , pref. with MBA
• Min. 15 years experience in Retail Banking, 3 years of which as Senior Manager
• High level of English and Arabic is preferable
• Adequate computer application skills
• Highly developed marketing skills
