This is an excellent opportunity to join one the Asset Management arm of one of the leading European Bank in Hong-Kong. Due to its expansion, our client is looking for a Greater China Business Manager to join their team.
Main Responsibilities

  • Working as a team with the head of institutional sales for Greater China on developing new business and servicing existing clients
  • Actively market discretionary and mutual fund products to potential clients in Greater China, through regular meetings and presentations on products and services
  • Coordinate and finalize the preparation of RFPs and work closely with the marketing team
  • Support and collect first-hand market intelligence on the institutional market place
  • Keep abreast of the evolution of the institutional world in the region for identification of new business opportunities
  • Support our efforts on consultant relation for identification of new business opportunities (products and potential clients) through regular contacts
  • Support all client relationships and work closely with the head of client servicing to achieve a high level of client satisfaction
  • Contribute actively to the development of the overall marketing strategy and product design.

    Knowledge /Skills /Competencies:

  • University degree, preferably in Business, Finance or Economics; CFA designation or equivalent is a definite advantage but not mandatory
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in Greater China
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese language. Fluent speaker of English and Mandarin. Strong English an advantage
  • Experience in marketing and servicing investment products
  • Knowledge of the investment industry and competition in products and pricing
  • Possess an enthusiastic, adaptable, forward thinking, self-motivated and energetic mindset
  • Possess diplomacy and maturity in order to develop and maintain executive level contacts
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

    People Skills:

  • Work closely in a collegial team environment of the Hong Kong sales, marketing and client servicing department with a collaborative approach.
