Oversee the corporate actions department within a Global Investment Bank.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for Equity Finance, Fixed Income Trading, and Prime Brokerage groups
  • Manage day to day processing for voluntary/mandatory corporate actions, dividends, and P&I processing within a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Heavy interaction with external counterparties, depositories and agent banks as well as internal traders, product controllers and various operations personnel
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly reporting
  • Ensure the timely responses to client and trader queries
  • Provide technical expertise to various members of the organization
  • Provide training for new and existing staff members

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent. Advanced degree a plus.
  • 7-10 securities operations experience.
  • Previous experience managing a small team
  • Thorough knowledge of a wide range of corporate actions including: Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions, Dividends, and Principal and Interest collections.
  • In depth knowledge of day-to-day operations in respect to reorganization offers, dividends and P&I Income Processing.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills. Superb research abilities.
  • Project management experience preferred.
