Based in Hong Kong, you will be leading the international business team with a focus on the US and European market. You will develop and maintain relationships with global institutional investors such as pension, foundation and endowment funds. Major responsibilities for the role include: lead the team and market the firm’s investment management services/ products to target investors; identify and cultivate prospects and clients, initiate and follow up on new business opportunities, lead new business meetings and close sales to institutional accounts; provide market feedback regarding perception about the firm and products; and assist in developing and launching new products.
To qualify, you will be a degree holder, having a CFA/MBA or equivalent certification with at least 8 years of sales experience in a fund house with a focus on the US and Europe institutional clients. Excellent understanding of the fund industry and investment business with strong product knowledge is a prerequisite. Experience in marketing emerging market equity products would be an advantage. You will be willing to travel frequently, fluency in English and Mandarin a must.
