To act as E*TRADE's main point of contact for our customers and prospective customers. The Sales Representative/RM is responsible for converting lead enquiries from customers into closed sales deals and for ensuring that clients receive the highest levels of support.
THE ROLE DESCRIPTION
  • The incumbent will work both to retain and develop existing business and to acquire new business.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering sales and supporting initial account management of the retail customer.
  • He/she will need to increase sales through the creation of proposals, presentations, training, competitive intelligence gathering, and the development of sales tools.

  • Identify and align key customer objectives with E*TRADE solutions and communicate benefits through presentations and proposals.
  • Initiate outbound calls to existing, assigned brokerage customers to retain, renew, or develop the customer relationship as well as inbound calls.
  • Ensure that clients’ needs are met and that the rules of the industry are observed.
  • Handle key accounts and building strong relationships with the clients.
  • Establish proposal development schedule, including key deliverables and action items, and track progress.
  • Work closely with the Country Head to develop sales tools and training materials as needed and to enhance sales support processes.
  • Work as an integral team member to achieve sales goals.
  • Interact with internal information providers as needed across Europe, UK and the US.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of the European financial markets and the brokerage industry.
  • Ability to prioritize work items based on business requirements, and effectively escalate issues when and where appropriate.
  • Degree qualified but not essential.
  • Very good level of English.
