Our client is a private equity real estate fund manager with a strong presence throughout Asia and Europe known for their ability to identify the best investment opportunities for their clients. They have a reputation worldwide for their leading business model and strategies.

The Fund Accountant is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the financial management of the investment fund.

Primary responsibilities:

Project Management

• Project manage the set up, implementation, integration and testing of the SUN accounting system.
• Project manage the set up of the Fund Model including the integration of the model with SUN

Fund Accounting

• Production of quarterly and annual financial statements
• Maintaining and reconciling fund model data on a quarterly basis
• Liaising with auditors as part of annual audit
• Assisting in the development and integrity of accounting systems, to ensure efficient control and recording of transactions
• Working alongside Investor Reporting team to provide answers to investor queries
• Ensuring sufficient monies are in place to finance property acquisitions

The successful candidate:

• Strong partnership accounting and reporting experience under IFRS and US GAAP
• Previous exposure to property accounting and foreign currency reporting
• Advanced SUN systems capability and experience - SUN Systems ‘Champion’
• Advanced excel modeling skills
• Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting/Economics or Commerce
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including travel within the Asia Region
• Commitment to high standards
