To manage strategic support & central change management function which supports the global business, working directly with COO in support of the CEO. You will act as the bridge into business on change programmes/projects and between business and IT on strategy and allocation of budget.

This is a Global, group wide initiate and you will work with senior management defining and planning strategic strategy. You will develop an integrated Business Model. Define and maintain Target Operating Model to describe how operational functions are to be organised. You will develop business models for activities that cut across business line silos, working with business line representatives (eg shared services such as market data) You will identify synergies by sharing or integrating processes, systems, methodologies and resources across the business Arbitrating to ensure that decisions regarding cost and resource allocation decisions between business lines are efficient and equitable Finally you will co-ordinate and monitor the execution of strategic investments Ensuring appropriate business sponsorship and commitment at all stages of programme lifecycle Managing the overall strategic budget and prioritising resources between initiatives Setting appropriate standards to control project initiation and ongoing reporting Reviewing and challenging project proposals and making appropriate recommendations. Actively monitoring project performance, using tollgates to ensure projects are on track to deliver expected benefits This is a senior level role and candiadates are expected to have:• Experience of defining business (and ideally systems) architectures/operating models. • Demonstrated project experience with a strong understanding of what makes projects successful and what pitfalls and warning signs to look out for • Experience of project and programme management, preferably in an international environment. • A level of knowledge of securities processing and/or fund administration • Practised with project management tools and techniques (e.g. reporting tools). You will also need strong interpersonal /persuasion skills and influencing skills (needed to drive global agenda across decentralised product lines with sometimes conflicting priorities) You should be a team leader and player with experience of working closely with both business and IT staff You should demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills Energy, drive and gravitas.
