This team is responsible for utilizing the analysts views on over 60+ markets to create and manage customized portfolios. This team is the central activity center for all company investing activities. They are responsible for the set-up, configuration, positioning and daily maintenance of 100's of customized portfolios.
Chosen candidates will be part of a intense 6-month hands-on training program were they will learn all about the markets, asset classes and how to construct an optimal portfolio.
We are seeking the following candidates:
Ivy League or Top "5" business school graduates with exceptionally high GPA's of 3.6 or above
PLEASE NOTE: We are seeking candidates at all skill levels for this position from senior to entry level.
These positions will be performing the following responsibilities:
Analyzing client portfolio positions, returns and investment strategies across numerous asset classes including Global Fixed Income, Inflation Linked Bonds, currencies, emerging market debt, equities and commodities. Structuring and setting up portfolios in the system Portfolio Re-balancing Engineering improvements to the portfolio construction infrastructure Creating and developing diagnostic tools for the portfolio construction process Developing Trade Generation Algorithms Evaluating new investment strategies, markets and financial instruments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.6/4.0 (AND/OR) Bachelors degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.6 coupled with a Masters degree. (We are seeking both Bachelors and Masters level candidates for this position). Must have graduated from an Ivy League or Top "5" School within the US. Candidates that are highly successful in this role are Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Science, or Finance Graduates. Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills. Strong computer skills; some knowledge of Visual Basic and/or SQL or other object oriented programming language. Candidates must have exceptional quantitative and analytical skills. These skills will be tested. A highly outgoing, innovative and inquisitive personality is needed for this position A passion for solving complex portfolio construction and management problems. Strong interest in the financial markets; a working knowledge of financial securities and basic derivatives a plus.
