We are seeking Operations professionals at all levels (from supervisory to new grad) to add to the team. This team is responsible for reconciling, measuring, and monitoring exposures and facilitating trade settlements as well as valuing portfolios.
We are seeking intelligent, highly analytical, and motivated associates that have intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charting) as well as prefer those with some programming skills (VB/VBA, SQL, etc)that have a passion for Operations.

The Operations group provides general support to the trading, accounting and client service groups in addition to being primarily responsible for mantaining the proprietary portfolio accounting system.

This position offers new associates a 3 month, multi-tiered interactive training period with any instrument that is traded including: Futures, Swaps, Repos, TBA's, Equities, FX, Cash Bonds, Funds/ETF's, and short term instruments.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates at all levels (Supervisory to new grad) to gain exposure to numerous financial instruments while working in a highly innovative environment. Positions are available at all levels).

This position will also be working with the Technology team to assist with continuing to innovate operations technology within the department. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Highly prefer Bachelors or Masters Degrees from top finance or Ivy League schools.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
  • Some "basic" programming skills in SQL, VB/VBA, .NET, C# or any other programming language are required. (Again, these skills can be basic skills to assist in improving operations technology).
  • Skilled Operations Associates must have a minimum of 2 years previous operations experience performing all or some of the responsiblities listed below is required: reconciliation, measuring and monitoring exposures and facilitating trade settlements.
  • Knowledge in Portfolio Accounting, custodian bank and clearing/prime broker operations is a benefit.
  • Precise communication skills, high level of accuracy, effective prioritization skills, organization and dedication to excellence are required.
