The firm has immediate openings for full time Analysts in the Dallas office in the Commercial Real Estate group. The Analysts will be responsible for investing in equity securities across various sectors and debt instruments, including CMBS bonds, B-Notes, Mezzanine Debt, and whole loans. The ideal candidates will be task oriented, pay close attention to detail, and be a team player.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sr. Analysts work with Portfolio Managers on investment analysis and portfolio management
  • Property and asset evaluation
  • Be actively involved in development aspect and initiatives
  • Make specific investment recommendations and buy/sell decisions
  • Interaction with investment bank brokers/bankers/analysts and industry experts
  • Work directly with the portfolio managers to generate new investment ideas and opportunities
  • Involvement with all aspects of the portfolio process
  • Seek new value-add information sources and provide diligence to your coverage

    Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience in real estate and corporate finance
  • BBA/BS required in Finance or other analytical major from a top tier school
  • MBA required from a top tier business school or its equivalent
  • CFA or other professional certifications are highly desired
  • Prior analysis/coverage of CMBS, B-notes, mezzanine debt, whole loans, other elements of real estate finance
  • Expert level using Microsoft applications
  • Superior work ethic and professional habits
  • Underwriting and Origination experience is a highly desired
