My client, a well established, credible investment house based in the West end of London seeks to recruit an experienced Fund of Hedge Fund senior researcher

You will be responsible for the whole research process, together with identifying potential investments, researching strategies, conducting due diligence to sizing and monitoring positions. Some oversight of an externally managed fund of hedge funds is also required.

Working with the programmer and quant analyst to develop a system for risk management and monitoring of hedge funds

Maintaining contact with Prime Brokers and other third party entities to continue our coverage of the fund universe Holding regular manager meetings Analysing all the hedge fund strategies and deciding which may be interesting for the portfolio Conducting due diligence on short listed managers, including obtaining references and assessing their risk controls Deciding which funds to include in the portfolio, and in what size Negotiating capacity and other terms with hedge funds Working with a team of two other hedge fund analysts Holding a monthly meeting with investors Participating in the weekly investment committee meeting

This is a high profile position for an experienced researcher looking to make the step into co managing the fohf portfolio and to have full interaction with the investment cycle .
