The Client

Our client is one the world's leading provider of life and pensions substantial positions in other markets around the world. They entered the Singapore market in July 2001 and since then, the company has expanded its offerings to include unit trusts in addition to long-term regular savings products.

In order to support aggressive growth strategies, they are inviting suitable individuals to join their Proposition & Product Team as assistant manager/executive

The Position

You will be working in a team to develop and implement plans for the development of our client’s mutual fund wrap platform (navigator) in the Asian region.

One role will focus primarily on the features of the product offering including available asset classes, adding new funds and charging structures. Another role will focus more on provision of services to their customers, particularly those provided by their online platform. Both will need to ensure they maintain their leading position in products’ features, benefits and differentiation in all distribution channels over a number of regional markets.

The Candidate

• Degree in Accountancy/ Finance/ Business/ Economics with more than 5 years‘ relevant experience in financial services industry or an MNC environment

• Strong knowledge and understanding of financial services investment products such as unit trusts and related regulations

• Good understanding of product design and development

• Business savvy with a good sense of profit and loss and a keen interest in business and investment products

• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication abilities

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point and Word) is a MUST. Working knowledge of fund database programs such as Lipper Hindsight would be a bonus.

• Must be a self-starter, diligent, disciplined, organised and analytical

• Must be resourceful in accumulating information and pay strong attention to detail

• Must be a team player, fast learner and able to work under pressure

For the role focusing on Regional Online Solutions, you also need to have a good mix of technology and business knowledge, knowing how to make use of technology to drive business engagement.
