The market data group at one of the world's largest financial exchanges is looking for a technical account manager to work directly with their clients -- who include hedge funds, investment banks, and other asset managers.
Ideal for someone with great Windows support skills, excellent communications skills, and a desire to work with the leading market data provider growing at over 20% per quarter.

This hands-on position involves supporting over 100 customers who use the company's cutting-edge credit derivatives data, risk, and trading software. This involves both directly working with clients to solve tough technical problems and creatively leading a support team to address larger issues. In addition, this position offers a great opportunity to work with the sales and implementation groups to refine and enhance the company's products. It's an ideal position for a sharp, hyper-organized Windows expert with great communications skills and a desire to learn more about financial markets in general and fixed income/credit in particular.

Required:

  • Windows Server 2000 and 2003.
  • Windows XP.

Desired:

  • SQL Server 2000 and 2005.
  • MS Office 2003/2000, with a focus on Outlook and Excel (addins and macros).
  • Experience with VPN, WebEx, Citrix, Remote Desktop, etc.
  • Helpdesk Call Logging System.
  • Experience with Reuters, Bloomberg, and other market data providers.
  • Some work with SalesForce CRM System.
  • Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Lotus Domino Server/Lotus Notes Client.
  • TCP/IP Networking, including port usage, command-line utilities, etc.
  • Knowledge of or experience with fixed income/credit derivatives.
