The successful candidate will work together with other team members to process the company’s proprietary trades. They are primarily responsible for equity settlements for Asian market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:

  • To confirm off-market trades with counterparts.
  • To send out settlement instructions to custodian banks.
  • To follow up any unmatched instructions or failed trades, and liaise with the relevant parties.
  • To monitor stock position.
  • To liaise with FO and MO for any ad hoc requests.
  • To work out funding position and inform FO and MO.
  • To send instructions on FX and fund transfer.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

  • A university degree in business administration, accounting, computer, law or related subject.
  • Preferably at least 2 year working experience in equity settlement.
  • Knowledge in Asia Pacific equities markets, e.g. HK, Australia, and Singapore.
  • Able to effectively communicate in spoken and written English.
  • PC skills, e.g. email, Excel.
