Technical Analyst/Data Analyst with Financial

As a leader in providing consulting services to leading financial institutions in the Charlotte area, we are continually looking to add proven, professional Technical Analysts/Data Analysts to our ever expanding team in Charlotte, NC.

As the Technical/Data Analyst, you'll need Technical Analyst or Data Analyst experience within the financial services sector. In this role, you will work with technical teams to develop design documents; analyze existing data, often using SQL queries to facilitate the research process and develop data maps and other project documentation. You will act as a liaison between members of project teams in various stages of requirement and data analysis for project needs as well as work in close collaboration with the Project Managers, business users and technical teams to gather, analyze and create project documentation. Documentation may be comprised of requirement documents, high level design documents, data models, low level design documents and business rules. You must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users at all levels of an organization.

Required Experience/Skills: - Experience within the financial services sector. - Must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users at all levels of an organization.

Industry Specific Experience: - Investment Banking - Wealth Management - Brokerage - Risk management - Basel risk or compliance Initiatives

Preferred Experience/Skills: - Strong SQL queries experience - Experienced with Data Warehousing concepts - Experience in formal project methodology
