• To assist in developing the Debt Capital Markets business by being the principal person responsible for interfacing with the global DCM Team in all matters required in pursuing businesses within the bank’s directed strategy and to continue the strive for sustainable competitive advantage.
To champion the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) effort in the Americas, including the origination and execution of Fixed Income transactions.

• To be the product champion for DCM • To transfer product knowledge & skill sets to the rest of the origination team. • To provide a global conduit to the DCM team globally. • To work effectively and as a team with both Fixed Income sales and trading teams.

Essential Skills / Attitude • Strategic: ability to appreciate the bigger picture, create alternatives & instinctively spot opportunities • Analytical: conduct preliminary financial and business analysis on bond prospects • Effective communication skills • Responsive, accurate, assertive, focused and efficient • Personable with great emphasis on team work but able to work independently
