The position involves ongoing monitoring of risk and evaluation of the portfolio managers within the Fundamental Long/Short business unit. The role requires understanding of the different strategies, monitoring of positions and market news, advising on establishment and implementation of risk limits .

This Position requires extensive knowledge of Financial Firms. The Firm has several PMS and Analysts who cover the Financials so i need this specfic experience.

Principal Responsibilities Daily review of trading activity and P&L for each trader within the business unit Weekly Performance Summary review Monthly P&L and Capital Allocation review Quarterly Preparation of Business Requirements for traders and Counterparty review Regular monitoring of Commissions and Execution Brokers Regular review of Compliance and Operational issues with the department heads

Qualifications/Skills Required Series 3, 7, 24 (preferable but not mandatory) Prior exposure to long/short investing Experience working in an Equities trading environment Knowledge and familiarity with Portfolio creation, Risk Management, Compliance, and Operational issues Background in the following sectors: Financials, Healthcare, Energy preferred Knowledge of Market Data Services employed for relevant Trading Strategies Familiarity with Bloomberg/Reuters Excellent technical and quantitative skills Excellent communication skills Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously, strong attention to detail
