Senior Associate (Property & Casualty)

Will provide technical support and research assistance to property and casualty analysts. Will work with a team of analysts on various analytical & statistical projects using graphs, tables, spreadsheets, comparative statistics, and formulating ratios. Will be responsible for maintaining databases that populate various industry and company reports with financial and statistical data. Will work closely with analysts to review financial, economic, legal, and debt positions of issuers.

Qualifications:

BA/BS required, computer science majors strongly encouraged to apply. Selected candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years financial analysis experience. Some knowledge of accounting and economics helpful, and familiarity with statistics as well as strong research skills essential.. Some experience with programming (e.g., Visual Basic), databases (Access, Sybase, etc.), actuarial methods and insurance accounting a plus, though not required. Solid verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills a must. Ability to balance multiple priorities and proficiency in of MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint required.
