The Challenge
To support the Head of Compliance in managing the Compliance function and in ensuring the business is compliant with relevant laws, regulations, Group requirements, rules and codes
Responsibilities
- Implement the Group Compliance Policy by containing compliance risk in conjunction with the Head of Compliance. The term "compliance" embraces all relevant laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.
- Ensure a comprehensive compliance monitoring programme is in operation to ensure relevant issues are effectively reported.
- Analyse and interpret existing and new laws and regulations, monitor changes to business practices and advise line management of relevant implications.
- Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which you are involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
The Candidate
Successful candidate must have a proven track record in an investment industry compliance role with and least 5 years experience, 2 at managerial level.
