You will supervise a staff of four to six fund accountants, senior fund accountants, and support positions. Your core responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring and coordinating the training of new employees; performing salary and performance reviews of the fund accounting staff; reviewing NAVs and yields prior to release; reviewing key areas of daily operations in order to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures and controls; reviewing all monthly reconciliation packages; ensuring the integrity and accuracy of fund records; ensuring the completeness and timeliness of reporting to clients, outside parties, and other internal departments; assigning responsibilities and ensuring an efficient work environment; reviewing accounting related issues included in new fund set up, monitoring key indicators of fund status (past due income, cash balances, corporate actions, etc.), take prompt action to correct problems as required; communicating ideas and contributing to the development of department and corporate goals; communicating as needed with fund management, the custodian, the transfer agent and all other related parties; communicating all department and corporate information through the use of regularly scheduled meetings.

Qualifications
BA/BS--accounting oriented Minimum of
five years of experience in a fund accounting or custody/fund accounting environment Advanced fund accounting principles and theories Computer system experience Supervisory and leadership skills Organization skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work under pressure in a deadline oriented environment Mutual Fund ETF experience preffered
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
