Prestigious Investment Bank is looking for a Senior Financial Institutions Credit Analyst. The purpose of the credit research team is to form clear views on credits and actively apply them, with a relative value focus, in portfolios. The role will suit those who understand these sectors as competent professionals in credit research and who enjoy seeing their ideas translate into portfolio alpha.

Sectors Covered: Banks, Broker-Dealers, Insurance, Real Estate, Independent Finance, and other Financial Services. Proper coverage of this highly volatile universe of about forty names will require an experienced Analyst capable of swift decision-making.

Description: Independently conducts credit research studies on assigned sectors. Makes buy, sell, hold, and short recommendations. Develops and maintains information on issuers or issuers Mentors more junior research staff MBA/CFA preferred 5+ years of investment and/or credit experience, preferably in a relative-value environment
