Job Description:

This position is located in our White Plains, New York office.

We are seeking a talented, creative, team player whose skills will enable a positive contribution from day one. Our Real Time Services division provides mission-critical data in real time to the institutional marketplace. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, testing, automation and overall system quality assurance.
• Project management. May lead or direct the work of others, changing priorities as needed
• Responsible for keeping core products in line as far as quality, functionality and usability
• Direct interface with clients
• Directing quality assurance functions covering the full software life cycle.
• Implementation of test plans
• Testing infrastructure and project plans
• Working with product development team, technology team and customers to identify and assure quality of product.
• Conducting system and integration testing and validation activities

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 yrs quality assurance and software testing
• Solid project management skills
• Experience implement software quality processes and procedures
• 3 yrs of software development (programming) experience with C/C++
• Java or high level scripting language, such as Perl or Python
• Experience with automated tools
• TCP/IP knowledge, SQL experience and very strong UNIX system level experience (3-4 yrs experience in a UNIX environment
• Problem solving, analysis skills needed
• BS degree in information technology or related area is preferred
• Helpful - MQSeries, TIBCO or RMDS experience
• Experience developing to APIs
• Financial market data experience
