A global financial institution is seeking for an experienced Senior Manager to manage its Securities operations team in Singapore.

Our client is a global financial institution with a significant presence across the Asia Pacific region that offers a range of specialist products and services to their institutional clients and investors alike. They are looking to hire an experienced candidate to join their growing team as the Senior Manager - Securities Settlements.

The role Senior Manager - Settlements will liaise with brokers, custodian’s and clients in order to resolve settlement issues. You will manage the Settlements team in ensuring successful matching and notification of the Investment Manager’s Equity, Fixed Income and Unit Trust trades. You will monitor the trade matching system for Equities and ensure successful matching against broker trade details as well as handling the manual matching process for Fixed Income trades. You will also be involved in identifying, testing and implementing workflow and system enhancements.

The successful candidate will be an experienced individual with excellent people management skills at both macro and micro levels and has significant exposures to the Custody Operations / Securities Services in the Asia Pacific region. Fundamentally, you will be someone with exceptional abilities to improve operational efficiencies and risk management frameworks. You will have a minimum of 7 years of direct experience in running an operations team within a bank.
