Reporting to the Infrastructure Data Ctr. Voice & Network Manager, the successful candidate will play a lead role in navigating some of the toughest guidelines for data retention and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Storage backup design, configuration, maintenance, upgrade and day-to-day issues related to Storage backup
  • Documentation of processes and procedures
  • Cover all reporting, backups, restore, VTL (EMC Disk Library), Veritas and media related matters
  • Fill-in for the Unix team for Unix related tasks
  • Independently analyze & interpret data retention & recovery guidelines and make recommendations to management
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or equivalent 4 year degree in field related to position. (ie: Computer Science)
  • 2 - 5 years work experience as a Netbackup/SAN storage Engineer in /Netbackup/EMC/Legato
  • Experience working within the financial industry, with exposure to technology, business, and third party banking/technology vendors.
  • Relevant experience in Application / System support a must.
  • Previous trading environment support experience
  • Must possess solid and updated technical skills
  • Must be able to stay calm under pressure, multi-task and be flexible
  • Must be able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving
  • Must be a good communicator at all levels
