The primary responsibility of this position will be to proactively manage three to five client relationships across the various asset types within the Evaluated Services (EVS) group. The EVS Portfolio Analyst must possess a superior knowledge of the Fixed Income markets (Domestic and International). He or she must also have very strong communication and analytical skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and be very detailed orientated. The EVS Portfolio Analyst will engage their clients in a consultative fashion to ensure that all of the client’s expectations of service as they pertain to EVS are satisfied. A large part of meeting these expectations will be the ability to respond to time-critical customer inquiries via Lotus Notes, e-mail, or telephone.

In addition, the EVS Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for monitoring news items and market conditions for their specific client portfolios, and obtaining market information from both market contacts and external clients. Success in this position requires that a close and trusting professional relationship be built with the external clients, internal sales organization, and the internal evaluations staff. Additionally, success will be dependant on the Analyst’s ability to maintain a well organized and clearly documented overview of the interactions with the clients and the evaluators in accordance with the policies and procedures utilized within EVS.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of seven years experience in the fixed income securities industry.
• Superior knowledge of Fixed Income Markets.
• Ability to facilitate superior client relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under stringent time constraints, multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Market knowledge and awareness.
• Independent self starter, able to sustain productivity.
• Team player with the willingness to take direction from management.
• Willingness to work the hours necessary to achieve daily objectives.
• PC literate, knowledgeable in Windows, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Bachelor's Degree Required
• CFA and/or MBA a plus
