One of the largest oil producers in the world, Qatar Petroleum is involved in a wide range of engineering projects as part of the ongoing developments related to Qatar Petroleum oil and gas facilities and general high-value projects in the State of Qatar. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Merger and Acquisitions Advisor to join their Project Finance Department.

Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for

• Carrying out Due Diligence investigations in targeted companies, and the industry and environment in which it operates, to determine the risk/reward for acquiring share. • Calculating a fair value based on the effectiveness in deploying and developing its Critical Value Drivers, its assets, its future plans, visions and strategy. • Reviewing Financial Statements and Strategic Plans to identify strengths and weaknesses in targeted companies. • Assesses economic, social and political trends in countries in which the company operates and their impact on past and future operations and value of the company. • Developing a financing plan for the proposed acquisition and implement the agreed financing plan.

Requirements 15 years post qualifying experience with at least 5 years within the last 7 years in Merger/Acquisition activities. Degree in business with major in Finance/ Accounting. Post graduate degree preferred.
