We represent a highly successful Wealth Management organisation with significant brand presence, an innovative product suite and coupled with an extensive distribution capability. In response to significant growth in the portfolio, they are seeking to appoint a high calibre Product Manager to join their team and continue their success

This role is primarily responsible for product and service management relating to the product suite of the broking arm of one of the largest retail bank.

The Product Manager has a customer and business focus on the ongoing maintenance, development and promotion of product lines including integrated accounts, IPO sourcing, conditional orders and alerts, dynamic data, exchange traded options and the Adviser Trading Facility.

This role is a product champion and customer advocate for Broking and Online Investing. In addition to ongoing product management, this role will have deliverables relating to new product and service development working closely with the Product Development team. This position will interact with a number of areas of the business and impact the efficiency, quality, profitability, competitive position and customer satisfaction.

The key responsibilities for this role are as follows:

  • Research and implement the transformation of the current trading platform into an integrated online distribution model.
  • Monitor and analyse competitors’ products and pricing, and marketing activity.
  • Implement short & medium term online revenue generation initiatives and work closely with the relevant Product Managers to ensure online revenue targets are met.
  • Contribute to platform development initiatives. This may include assisting with requirements documentation, business case analysis, documentation of issues/ risks and benefits realisation analysis and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Work with those impacted by change to assess and design strategies for successful and well-communicated implementation.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external communications teams to ensure that profile of the Broking initiatives are communicated to the broader business and externally.
  • Equities Division stakeholder on various product or customer related projects where appropriate.

Knowledge of equities markets essential and an understanding / experience in product management within a financial services provider. You will have superior business acumen, a positive attitude and the ability to think strategically. As a self starter, you will enjoy working independently & thrive in a fast paced environment. A tertiary qualification in the relevant discipline will be assumed.
