Highly skilled finance professional with an excellent track record of success is highly sought to join a growing finance team in the capacity of Associate Portfolio Manager.

Under the title of Associate Portfolio Manager, Derivative Instruments your responsibilities will include managing, in conjunction with other members of the derivative team, a synthetic foreign equity portfolio. Additionally, you will be accountable for devising, analysing and recommending value added strategies in management of country, currency and credit exposure as well as assisting in the development and monitoring of risk management measurements and limits. Equally important, it will be your role to analyze and monitor portfolio performance measurements and to provide research and analysis for total fund initiatives and when appropriate, recommending action.

As Associate Portfolio Manager, you will also be required to transact a variety of derivative instruments across product lines including equity (i.e. futures, options, total return swaps), foreign exchange (Swaps, options) and fixed income (interest rate and credit derivatives). You will use fundamental and quantitative analytical techniques to develop and implement value added strategies. Further, you will be required to develop derivative solutions for both strategic and tactical asset allocation as well as maintaining an effective working relationship with investment dealers, other institutional money managers and derivative experts.

Requirements:

As a strong candidate to be positioned for the role of Associate Portfolio Manager, you bring forward 5 or more years of derivative experience within the investment management industry combined with a strong working knowledge and usage of derivative instruments. You have successfully completed a Graduate Degree in Business, Economics and/or Mathematics followed by achievement of the CFA accreditation.
