Our Client is a Top 3 European Private Bank and due to strong expansion measures, we have recently derived a need to include a Head of Securities Settlement in their growing operations team.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, train and ensure smooth operations in day to day operations
• Securities Settlement – nostro account, cash and securities, Reconciliation, Account Opening, custodian etc
• Minimise losses/risk through exercising operational controls over procedures
• Strong liaison with custodians and fund managers
• Constant review of existing work processes and systems. And look into improving through change management with specific project teams
• Review of fund agreements and keeping to SLA
• Management reporting, monthly statistics, KPI of team

Job Requirements

• 6 to 10 years Private Bank Securities Operations experience
• Strong knowledge on global securities industry
• Meticulous and Analytical, Able to identify necessary changes to improve processes
• Leadership, Negotiator, Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Must be currently in Singapore to attend interviews with Hays and with Hays’ Client
