Securities Lending Trading Application Developer

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test and deploy technical solutions that satisfy business requirements
  • Relationship management: build strong working partnerships with business and technology team members
  • Proactively identify and address changing business needs
  • Partner with Securities Lending business users to analyze business requirements
  • Proactively support application in production by quickly identifying and fixing production issues
  • Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications
  • Run and monitor performance tests on new and existing software for the purposes of correcting mistakes, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
  • Administer diagnostic analysis of test results and deliver solutions to critical areas
  • Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, programmers, and other software engineers to resolve any defects in supported applications.



    Qualifications

  • Experience in object-oriented analysis/design (5+ years)
  • Experience in Java – fundamentals (4+ years)
  • Experience in Java – J2EE (3+ years)
  • Experience developing client/server, distributed systems (3+ years)
  • Experience in SQL – Sybase of equivalent RDBMS (3+ years)
  • Experience supporting business-critical systems (2+ years)
  • Spring/Hibernate experience preferred
  • Experience with JUnit/EasyMock
  • Experience in Agile Development methodology or Extreme Programming derivatives
  • Experience in financial application development preferred
