As part of this team you’ll be able to work on projects from Central to Local Government, the major Government Agencies, Devolved and Regional Government, Transport, Health, Education and Adult and Social Care. As such, you’ll enjoy the variety of client exposure with the added benefit of being able to draw on the expertise of high profile public sector figures who are currently engaged with Deloitte. As a Manager within this practise, you will be able specialise in areas of interest and also develop your own team in a direction you want.
 
You’ll develop your consulting skills and enjoy unlimited opportunities to progress as part of a fast-growing team that is involved in extremely high profile assignments. Much of the work we do can be subject to public scrutiny with close media attention to delivery and sometimes strong political implications. So from an early stage in your career you’ll have exposure to some of the most strategically important and challenging programmes in Government, all of which really impact our daily lives.
 
This role involves:
  • Working on engagements and overseeing small working groups of consulting staff.
  • Supporting the delivery of operational transformation projects including helping to manage budgets and prepare deliverables.
  • Supporting the development of bids for new work.
  • Developing long-term client relationships.
  • Participating in Local & Regional/Central Government led sales, marketing and business development initiatives.
To qualify you must possess:
  • Previous experience in either working for an institution or a consultancy firm in the following:

                  - Local/Central Government

                  - Health

                  - Education

                  - Adult and Children Social Care

  • Performance improvement and review.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of managing teams
  • Project management skills
  • Full travel mobility.
  • The right to live and work in the UK.
