Our Finance Performance Management team is focused on streamlining and strengthening the workings of our clients' finance functions. We help the CFO and their senior team balance the role of business strategist with being guardians of corporate integrity and transparency. A role within our Financial Management team offers the opportunity to gain a broad range of experiences including resource management, performance management, cost management, financial process re-engineering, decision support systems, financial control, cost reduction and financial management systems.
Working closely alongside the Directors and Partners, you’ll have two unique opportunities. The first is to make a difference by really influencing and shaping the strategic development of our team. The second is to learn from the best in our Business.
You’ll be a subject matter expert leading multiple, high-profile projects and bids, whilst developing innovative thought leadership. You’ll recruit the best people, coach and support them whilst driving activity such as proposition development and marketing.
The role involves:
- Advising on best practice approaches to budgeting, planning and forecasting in order to improve their accuracy, timeliness and efficiency
- Identifies areas of improvement in client decision-making framework
- Understands and questions client support processes and impacts
- Demonstrating knowledge of client decision-making and support processes and key client business drivers
- Building follow-on opportunities at existing client
- Managing team and project within budget and on time
- Business Development
To qualify, you’ll have;
- Qualified/Part Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA
- Minimum 2nd class degree or equivalent
- Relevant experience in or around one of the Financial Management sectors.
- Project or change management
- Proven ability to manage and work effectively in teams
- Strong track record of business development
- Prior Consulting experience
