Your main responsibility will be the development of customer predictive models, their associated documentation and support implementation and use of such models within retail banking. You will also provide rigorous, independent review and challenge to all live models. You will provide decision science with a robust and standardised framework within which it can operate. You must have leading edge modelling background. Ideally experience in an analytical/modelling role in financial services. Practice of SAS, or similar statistical package, and practice of databases, data warehouses and other data manipulation tools is preferred. It is also important to be a good communicator, including presentation skills, negotiation and influencing skills. There is an element of stakeholder management. I good awareness of the economic and marketing impact on the business is also key.
