Real Estate Investment through Global Opportunity fund - 5+ yrs of experience with knowledge in Japanese Real Estate Finance
    Responsibilities:
  • Work with the company’s Real Estate Japan team to source, structure, and execute opportunistic real estate investments throughout Japan for the Company’s Global Opportunity Fund
  • Real estate investment targets should include both asset and corporate-level opportunities
  • Work with internal or external asset management teams around monitoring and yield management of GOF’s investments
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with co-investors, developers, and other partners to GOF

    Requirements:
  • +5 years experience in private equity and/or other principal-focused activities in the real estate sector and/or strong development experience
  • Deep relationships with real estate developers, construction firms, and other real estate operating companies, in addition to lenders, banks, and financial institutions
  • Understanding of and facility with Japanese real estate finance practices financial institutions
  • Familiarity with corporate finance, including M&A, as well as hard assets (previous development experience would be ideal)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Native level Japanese and at least business level English
  • Ability to think out-of-the-box
  • Ability to interact with senior management and all levels of staff
