The candidate should have experience with requirements gathering, creating functional requirements specifications, user testing, and product rollout. Will create new financial products and support and enhance existing products for the OTC market.

Duties and Accountabilities

  • Produce detailed API specifications from existing systems and SME interviews.
  • Analyze workflow and produce process flow diagrams.
  • Conduct gap analyses between market processes and system functionality.
  • Ensure consistency of specifications across sub-systems.
  • Provide input into user interface layouts and create screen mock-ups
  • Assist with test planning, execution and reporting, including writing, reviewing, and executing manual test scripts.
  • Coordinate system releases to ensure thorough testing and roll out to customers
  • Write, revise, and edit client education, user, administrative, and support materials (API specifications and other training materials).

Business Competencies

  • Previous experience as a business analyst
  • Working experience with FpML API development
  • Familiarity with FpML standards
  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Understanding of OTC derivatives
  • Experience with onboarding clients on FpML API
  • Experience with migration of clients from Excel/csv to an FpML API
