Job SummaryTo manage the planning , implementation ,business impact and business benefits of specific initiatives within the UK driven by the UK Business strategy,. This will include but not be limited to the development of a scalable and sustainable business platform. The role will seek to maximise benefits and optimise costs as well as managing stakeholders and sponsors and ensuring the change is embraced and appropriately managed into the business lines. In addition, act as the technical lead for the Lean 6 Sigma deployment within the UK business.
ResponsibilitiesManages specific UK Change programmes ensuring successful delivery with both internal and external(client/ Regulatory) expectations/service levels being met and where possible exceeded. This will require a working partnership with IT, Product, Client Solutions and the Buisness teams. To oversee Programme streams (virtual teams) focused on the delivery of high impact business led change programmes To manage the cost/benefit profile of a programme providing an overall view of the budget, actuals and forecasted spend. Most importantly to continuously review and recalculate the business benefits and ensure these are understood throughout the lifecycle of the change programme, by the Senior Management Team. Works with the Senior Manager, Change Management to support their production of robust business cases. Report to the main RBCDIS and client steering boards Ensures that the programme(s) can be transitioned to a live supported operational environment with appropriate technology and business support and Business continuity procedures (BCP)/ arrangements are tested and in place. Responsible for creating co-development environments with existing and prospective clients and for the creation of proceses to manage client requirements Works closely with sales , product and IT to create collaboration aross initaives. Motivates and develops and retains (where appropriate) individuals within the team Works with the Senior Manager, Change Mangement to develop improved techniques and tools for managing change. Lean 6 Sigma technical expert Work within a global team to develop a framework for Six Sigma training, methodology and certification standards. This will include: Develop and manage the Process Management Framework/ Methodology Develop and manage the program review process. Develop and manage a project selection and prioritization framework. Assist with the development of a rewards and recognition program. Develop the process for identifying performance-improvement opportunities across the UK business area Manage external support relationships (Minitab, IGrafx, Training suppliers) Provide guidance and support to the Green Belts Establish regular review of process and project metrics
