Our client is a renowned global financial institution. To support its rapid business expansion in Asia, they are looking to recruit Trading Application Support Specialists in Hong Kong
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support to both internal and external traders with special focus in trading systems and client / exchange connectivity

  • Assist connectivity team in implementing client connectivity via the FIX protocol

    REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent inter-personal skill and communication skill in English

  • Experience in problem solving and crisis management

  • Be able to work independently

  • Experience in Unix Shell Script / Perl is a must.

  • A strong understanding of operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows, etc.)

  • A strong understanding of databases and networks

  • Experience in Java / C++ / VBA is an advantage

  • Experience in FIX protocol is a definite advantage

  • Experience in Reuters, Bloomberg, and front offices order management systems is an advantage

  • Trader Support experience is a definite advantage

  • Knowledge in Asia exchange rules and regulations are preferable.

  • University degree, preferably in Computer Science / Information Systems
