Our client is a leading Asset Manager. They are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Hedge Fund Accountant.
Reporting to the Head of Finance you and your assistant will manage all accounting aspects of the firms Hedge Funds. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Produce monthly risk exposure reports.
  • Control FX hedging of the different currency share classes using spot and forward deals on a monthly basis.
  • Participate in setting up new hedge funds.
  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with fund administrator, prime broker and auditors.
  • Check monthly management fee & expense accruals, ensuring that the amounts agree with the prospectus/SLA.
  • Assist in the production of year-end fund accounts and liaise with auditors.

    As the ideal candidate you will be a qualified accountant with experience working for hedge fund manager or administrator. In addition you will have a proven ability of using your initiative and have outstanding communication skills. This role is a high profile role within the firm.
