Corporate Bond Originator covering the Nordic markets required for leading European Investment Bank's Debt Capital Markets team in Stockholm, Sweden

Our leading Investment Bank client seeks a Corporate Bond Originator to focus on the Nordic market and international issuers. Based in Stockholm the successful candidate will take an active part in creating a practice that maximizes client business and P&L within Capital Markets and The Bank. The role will involve:

• Maintain a pro active origination role and manage all aspects of transaction deal flow, including actively maintain internal and external contacts to promote origination activities
• Act as syndicate function as required
• Products to promote include domestic and Eurobond public and private transactions
• Actively work for cross selling of Capital Markets and Merchant Banking products
• Foster an environment of good team spirit and professional behaviour
• Contribute to business development within Credit Origination
• Specific client responsibility
• Actively lead or take part in weekly and monthly internal meetings
• Strive towards achieving goals, both on a group and individual level, including ; (i) financial goals as measured by budget and (ii) a leading market position as measured by league table ( such as Bloomberg for SEK bond issuance) as well as Eurobond activity - measured vs. Nordic business flow (Nordic issuers) and for other markets

The ideal candidate will be a Corporate Bond Originator at a leading Investment Bank focused on the Nordic and/or German Markets. They are likely to be based in London or another European city, and will have a strong desire to move to Sweden. Ideally the successful candidate will have:

• Strong Nordic, blue-chip client relationships and will be well regarded in the market, although strong candidates with Financial Institutions DCM experience will also be considered
• Recently completed a number of notable transactions and will have carried out both the origination and execution of these transactions.
• Very strong capital markets product experience and will be self-motivated to drive the business forward.

Candidiates from Financial Institutions DCM backgrounds will also be considered.

Whilst not essential, fluent Swedish is desirable
