Min 2 yrs exp with commodity bank; Direct dealing with OTC Commodity Derivatives (NRG, Platts); Compulsory energy broker experience; Analyst with knowledge of Oil.
Assoc/Asst Mgr: Global Trade Finance (Structured Trade & Commodity Finance)
Responsibilities:
  • Cover the day to day admin of existing oil clients
  • Support front office in the write-up of applications & presentation to credit
  • Coordinate subsequent credit monitoring, self-assessments, KYCs, approval process & monitor transactions
  • Utilize the lines & to promote & cross-sell other banks products (when necessary)
  • Financial inputs & analysis

Requirements:
  • Min Dip. A degree in Banking and & Finance is a bonus.
  • Min 2 yrs exp as an Analyst (with knowledge of the Oil business & its transactional nature) with either a regional/int'l major commodity bank
  • Exp of LCs, Standby LCs, Letters of Indemnity, Tank Storage, Payment Guarantees
  • Knowledge of trade products eg. Import & Export LCs, Standbys, Guarantees & Collections
  • Basic knowledge of oil futures market
  • Financial analysis & the approval process

Snr Officer/Asst Mgr/AVP: Commodity Derivatives Broking
Responsibilities:
  • Deal directly with OTC Commodity Derivatives, mainly dealing with Energy & using Platts
  • Broking between the Bank’s traders in Tokyo/London
  • Marketing of the Bank’s products

Requirements:
  • Min degree, preferably in Banking & Finance
  • Min 2 yrs exp as an Energy Broker

Other Info:
  • Some traveling expected
  • Shift work may be required
