Positions are available at most levels and do not require previous investment management experience.
Specifically, this position will be:
Gathering, understanding and maintaining financial and economic data related to the over 60+ markets traded in. Position will ensure data collected makes sense, is accurate, etc.
If data is inaccurate, would need to track back through the complex systematic process. Depending upon the situation, may also need to reconstruct formulas and calcuations, etc.
Constant improvement and streamlining of the data collection process which includes not only the processes and procedures used, but also the technology utilized.
Determining creative and better sources for data collection.

PLEASE NOTE: This position does "NOT" make investment decisions based on the data. This is a data collection, management and improvement position that offers an amazing opportunity to learn and advance in the industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a Bachelors degree with a preferable cumulative GPA at or above 3.5/4.0.
We highly prefer candidates with engineering, computer science, or mathematics backgrounds.
Intermediate programming skills in at least one language (SQL, VB, VBA, C++, C#, etc)
Database skills are highly preferred
Candidates that have experience working for data vendors such as Bloomberg, Reuters, etc are ideal.
Prior experience with data vendors (Reuters, Bloomberg, Datastream, Compustat, etc) is preferred
Experience working with large data sets
Highly intelligent, motivated, innovative, passion for the markets, ability to accept and give very direct constructive criticism for improvement and a keen focus on excellence are required.
