Major hedge fund with a multi-billion dollar loan portfolio is seeking experienced portfolio managers with an interest in restructurings and distressed/workout situations.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Manage and monitor a challenging portfolio of illiquid, high yielding assets that include: asset based loans, junior secured loans, bridge loans, mezzanine finnancings, trade claims, leases and other types of financings. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform due diligence reviews, monitor surveillance reports, report to investment committee, coordination modifications, restructurings and workouts, maintenance and archiving of deal documentation, coordinate information delivery to valuation and audit firms, interact with Operations and Finance to ensure the proper booking, billing and accounting of loan positions. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have strong credit background and must have at least 2 years in loan portfolio management or loan workout with a major bank, finance company or hedge fund. Related experience in leveraged finance, credit risk management, loan servicing or auditing will be considered. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong computer skills, including an advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Qualified applicants only.
