For our Corporate Event Management Unit we now seek to recruit a Corporate Event Manager

The Marketing Department provides high quality sales and marketing support to Lombard's pan-European and international Sales team and is responsible for Research & Development, Pricing of New Solutions as well as Corporate Marketing and Public Relations. For our Corporate Event Management Unit we now seek to recruit a Corporate Event Manager.

Your role The role has been designed to introduce expertise and a disciplined approach to corporate events management where project planning is key to ensuring successful results to help Lombard develop closer business partner relationships. Specifically the function will include:

  • Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and define a corporate event strategy translated into actions to support the business strategy and objectives

- Ensure existing project management tools are efficiently used and identify enhancements of the working methodology.

  • Managing a team of experienced marketing professionals.
  • Provide qualitative and innovative event ideas and identify implementation areas in existing corporate events.
  • Select providers and define Service Level agreements with external event providers.
  • Be a resource to the team in advising, helping and supporting projects.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that milestones and results are in accordance with the project scopes and within budget and agreed deadlines.
  • Prioritise projects and tasks in line with the business priorities.

Your profile

The successful candidate will possess the attributes listed below:

  • At least 5 years experience in a similar position and university degree in marketing or similar faculty.
  • Suitable experience in financial services, wealth management or luxury goods sector
  • Exceptional skills in interpersonal communication and ability to facilitate teamwork
  • Able project manager and results oriented person.
  • Attentive to detail, precise and well formulated
  • Creative, quick thinking and good planning skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; working knowledge of other main European languages (i.e. French and German) would be considered an asset.
