Reporting to the Group Financial Controller your responsibilities & duties will include
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly investment reports
- Supervision of the daily pricing of funds
- Review and sign off on the format and administration of new bespoke funds
- Compilation of annual statutory and regulatory returns
- Supervision of a team of five
- Delivery of change initiatives in the area
- Development of procedures to enhance the analysis of information and the efficiency of production of data
- Liaise between the life company, the investment managers and the actuarial department to ensure that investment mandates are being followed
- Control of the daily funding operations
- Reconciliation of asset and liability units Background and Experience:
- The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a number of years experience either in the life or funds sector
- The successful candidate will have a high level of self-motivation
- Experience in leading a team is essential
- Good attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Good computer skills, especially Excel, are essential
- Excellent English is essential
- SAP experience is an advantage.
