Team Leader – Registrar Operations

An independent and global leader in alternative investments, providing innovative products and tailor-made solutions for private and institutional clients. We have a powerful global presence in 15 countries. An international financial services business that is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 index of major companies. Provides administration services to the growing number of funds, specifically to provide Shareholder and Transfer Agency Services to the funds.

TEAM LEADER – REGISTRAR OPERATIONS

To lead a team of 5 people, whose main tasks are the administration of transactions: applications, redemptions, coupons, transfers, maturities and coordination on new product launches with our Swiss office. This opportunity has come about due to an internal movement of staff.

Specific responsibilities:

  • To plan the team workflow management on a daily basis
  • To review processes to seek out any efficiencies
  • To review procedures to ensure they cover all tasks and processes and that they are kept up-to-date
  • To manage various projects or initiatives that may be assigned to the team
  • To assist in the management of the wider Operations team
  • To review and set objectives for team members
  • To assess and organise team training needs
  • To manage team risks
  • To resolve any issues in a proactive manner
  • To assess and assist in the development of system enhancements for the team's processes with our Business systems support unit.

Requirements

  • 4 years experience in a financial/shareholder services environment essential
  • Previous supervisory/team leader experience essential
  • Strong leadership and motivation skills to order to successfully support and encourage a team to achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and demands.
  • Quality driven with a keen focus on attention to detail.
  • A strong problem solver with the ability to make timely decisions
  • Computer literate - MS Word & Excel
