Our client is an independent integrated private equity, funds management and corporate advisory firm, advising and arranging transactions in the EV of $20m to $200m. They provide independent advisory, investment and asset management services, to companies and manage a variety of investment funds.

Reporting to the Investment Director your primary role as Portfolio Manager is to monitor and value the designated asset classes in the portfolio including research into new investment opportunities and the implementation of relevant changes. You will have direct responsibility for the implementation and management of the investment mandates ensuring the fund portfolio compliance remains within agreed terms.

You will be involved in investment and divestment strategy for the portfolio with a high degree of influence on its future direction. In addition, you will be responsible for the provision of regular reports highlighting potential opportunities and current issues relating to the investment portfolio.

Degree qualified in a relevant finance discipline you will have a strong base understanding of investment portfolio theory and practice together with exposure to financial markets valuation tools and global and domestic portfolio analysis. You will have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in asset management, portfolio management or alternately you are a senior analyst in a similar fund looking to take the next step up.

As the successful candidate you will be rewarded with a base salary plus an attractive bonus. Additionally you will be in a position that has clear progression to senior management within the group.
